Workshop Description
The main focus of the workshop will be to introduce various African Street dance styles such as Pantsula, Azonto, Gweta... Class will start with the history of the dances then students will learn foundation steps. Then they will do variations across the floor and finish with a combo.

Artist Bio
Melly Mel has performed at high profile events including "The Beatles LOVE" by Cirque du Soleil, the 50th Annual Grammy Awards, the Jay Leno Show... In 2010 Melly Mel joined Cirque Eloize’s “iD” and toured Europe and Asia with the company until 2012. While touring, Melly Mel started a movement, mellymelinspires.com, to work with youth in different communities around the world. She uses her passion for dance to motivate and empower the youth to assist them in becoming creators of their lives that transcend the ordinary. Currently she's an integral part of Bboyizm Dance Company and Melly Mel aspires to inspire people from different walks of life as she shares her purpose to “Live. Love. Laugh.” through dance!
